# Guide to Filtering Data in AdapTable

- AdapTable provides 2 ways to filter Grid Data (which can both operate at the same time):
  - Column Filter - filters a single Column (but with multiple conditions)
  - Grid Filter - filters across multiple Columns
- Both types of Filter use AdapTableQL Expressions

- Column Filters and the Grid Filter complement, and **work in conjunction, with each other**
