Expanding & Collapsing Row Groups

Version 21.0 of AdapTable delivered many improvements to Layouts.

Perhaps the most commonly requested of these concerned Row Groups:

• for AdapTable to save, and then restore on re-start, which Row Groups are open
• for developers to set the expand / collapse behaviour of Row Groups

This is now available - and for Column Groups as well as Row Groups.

AdapTable can now save, automatically, in the Layout section of Adaptable State which Row or Column Groups are open, and then re-apply them when the application restarts.

Additionaly developers can configure, in the Layout, the Expand / Collapse behaviour.

For both for both Row Groups and Columns Groups, there are 4 options available:

• To set all Groups always to be expanded

• To set all Groups always to be collapsed

• To set Groups to be expanded by default but to save exceptions

• To set Groups to be collapsed by default but to save exceptions
