Other AdapTable Licenses
As well as Application Licences, AdapTable provides 3 other varieties of License.
These are designed to help developers evaluate AdapTable and to support small companies.
Free Trial License
It is free for developers to use AdapTable, or to evaluate it by building a Proof of Concept (POC).
Important
- This license cannot be used to build commercial or enterprise software
- At the expiry of the trial period, AdapTable can no longer be installed or updated
Our free limited-period Trial License is designed to allow you to:
- evaluate AdapTable using your own data
- try out AdapTable in your own environment
- build a full Proof of Concept (POC) using AdapTable
Hint
- We encourage you through your trial period to open a support ticket with us through Zendesk
- This allows you to raise questions with the Adaptable Tools Technical Team
There are no restrictions on functionality and you can see it working in your own data environment.

PoC License
This License is designed for teams who want to build a Proof of Concept to test out the suitability of AdapTable for their project, and would like to receive expert support from the Adaptable Tools technology team.
The PoC License forms part of a specialised package designed to get new users up and running with AdapTable as quickly and smoothly as possible.
Note
- It enables the creation of a bespoke application, using custom data designed to meet custom requirements
- It draws on the deep expertise of the Adaptable Tools team to address issues that are unique to each use case
The AdapTable PoC package includes:
- A free trial licence, valid for 2 months, giving full access to all AdapTable’s features while building the trial application
- 24/7 support from the Adaptable Tools team for all queries
- Up to 10 hours of dedicated support from Grid Gurus, the specialist DataGrid consultancy from AdapTable Tools, who will closely work with you to get your PoC up and running

Alternatively, we can put together a bespoke package which provides more (or less) Grid Gurus support
The cost of our PoC package is redeemable against the cost of the first year of any subsequent commercial AdapTable licence.
Integration License
An Integration License is required for longer integration periods than that provided by a trial license.
This allows for a more extended development stage, with support from the AdapTable team through that time.
When required, a commercial license is agreed, usually for 6 months initially, extendable on a monthly basis.
Note
- Integration Licenses grant full access to Support during the Integration period
- This includes making new functionality requests, based on your requirements, which will be added to AdapTable
It also provides full access to any new versions of AdapTable that are released during the Integration period.
If you purchase an Integration License we guarantee to honour any pricing quotation for longer term licensing made at the outset, even if our prices change in the interim.
Start-Up License
This License is designed to support start-ups and young businesses on their path to growth.
It offers a 3 year Single Application Premium License at a heavily discounted price.
A Start-up is defined as:
- Business in existence for 5 years or less
- Annual revenues under £500,000
