AdapTable Privacy Policy

This is the Adaptable Tools policy on clients' privacy:

• AdapTable is downloaded by clients and installed entirely on their machines; as a result, it does not have access to, nor any knowledge of, any business data that is displayed inside AdapTable.

• AdapTable has no server or backend and is entirely ignorant of what data clients load into the grid.

• Adaptable Tools collects and retains the minimum information required for effective sales and client management. All information is stored within a secure system to which access is limited, and where relevant additional security may be applied to individual documents or information.

• Names and details of our clients remains entirely confidential, with all information about clients made available to Adaptable Tools staff on a need-to-know basis only. Unless we have explicit prior agreement, we never share that information or names of clients in any public forum or with any other partners with whom we work.

• Adaptable Tools’ products do not track or collect any user information other than that generated by users themselves for their own purposes. Once a licence has been obtained by clients, Adaptable Tools does not track or retain any user information or other data relevant to the use of its products.

• Adaptable Tools does not collect any private personal information through its website or other electronic media used in marketing. It does not track user devices or note any technical information about the visitor’s browser or IP address; it does not store any cookies; it does not create any log files; it has no advertising (personalised or otherwise); and it does not save any information about individual web pages visited.

• Adaptable Tools is fully GDPR Compliant. Our single mailing list (administered by MailChimp) contains only name and email addresses of contacts who have explicitly opted in, and the opt out function can be accessed at any time. We do not share this list with other commercial partners.
