Notes for Onboarding AdapTable

Based on our many years of experience working at a wide range of companies, we designed AdapTable so that it is as easy as possible for our clients to buy our product.

To date, all onboarding exercises and internal audits by prospective AdapTable clients have been successful.

But we are aware that customers thinking about buying AdapTable, like any software, will have some concerns.

Below are a few points that we hope might help your decision-making and serve to alleviate any anxieties:

• AdapTable is downloaded by clients and installed only on their machines

• AdapTable has no server or backend capability

• AdapTable makes no external calls of any kind

• We have longevity; we were established in 2014 and over the past decade we have successfully:

  • released AdapTableBlotter.NET - a WinForms and WPF version of the current tool
  • released AdapTable for AG Grid - this product, developed when HTML5 became widespread
  • developed AdapTable for Infinite (to be released soon) - an extension to Infinite Table for React
  • set up our Grid Gurus DataGrid consultancy, advising many leading firms on DataGrid strategy

• We enjoy near 100% licence renewal and many clients have been with us for a number of years (some for 7). These companies all use AdapTable to power critical systems (or software products)

• As part of the licence purchase process we can provide, on request, a full copy of the source code

• AdapTable Tools has no access to, nor any knowledge of, any data that is displayed inside AdapTable

• AdapTable has no built-in expiry; the annual licence provides access to new releases but purchased licences will be active for ever; once AdapTable is installed, it will continue to work indefinitely

• We have rolling agreements in place with some clients that we'll provide a 2 year warning period before any takeover activity. We are happy to extend that commitment to new clients, on request.

• We are not a "big company" in terms of corporate manpower; we concentrate on one product area - Data Grids - and we do that one thing very well. We have a full-time development team that builds and enhances the product, together with access to a much larger pool of developers that we call on for Grid Gurus services.

• This core developer team has been with us for many years and provides a very active stream of releases, new features, and user-requested product enhancements.

• We provide a first-rate Support service. Excellent support has been a fundamental priority, and differentiator, since we set up AdapTable Tools and we continually receive positive feedback - both in terms of speed in replying to, and fixing, issues raised by our customers, and also regarding including their suggested enhancements in AdapTable (most recent AdapTable features were user suggestions, and a key reason for our high renewal rates).
