Today we released AdapTable 22.1, the latest version of our market-leading AG Grid extension.

AdapTable 22.1 is a minor release and supports AG Grid v.35.2

The main area of focus in 22.1 is extending Row Selection to Layouts.

Row Selection

Version 22.1 extends Layouts with a group of powerful Row Selection capabilities.

Note

  • Layouts are used in AdapTable to manage AG Grid Column behaviour and properties
  • They are available in both Table and Pivot views

Configurable Row Selection features include:

  • Mode - whether to select only Single Rows or Multiple Rows
  • Ability to display a dedicated Selection Column
  • Option to display a Checkbox in Header of Selection Column
  • User can set Position, Pinning and Size of Selection Column
  • Selection / Deselection behaviour can be set for when clicking elsewhere in a Row
  • A series of selection options for Row Grouping (e.g. to put checkboxes in Grouped Column or dedicated Column, or to select all leaf nodes when selecting a grouped row)

Hint

  • These features can be configured at design time by developers using Layout Initial State
  • And they can also be configured at run-time users in the Layout Editor

UI Wizards

The AdapTable Wizards have been given a number of small UI enhancements including:

Wizards are used by run-time users to create Styles, Formats, Calculated Columns, Alerts, Layouts etc

  • clearer titles so its easily apparent what the current module is
  • search facility when listing all columns (useful in very large Grid)
  • consistent behaviour when navigating between wizard steps
  • better distinguish between Columns with the same Caption / Header (e.g. Bid or Ask)
