Grid Info

The Grid Info Panel offers full run-time oversight of what is happening in AdapTable.

The Grid Info Panel is, typically, the first Panel displayed in the Settings Panel and contains 4 tabs:

• Summary
• Layout
• State
• Options

Summary

The Summary tab provides identity and version information about the instance:

• The AdapTable and AG Grid versions being used
• The License Key
• The Adaptable Id, State Key, User Name and Primary Key column

Layout

The Layout tab provides a snapshot of the current Layout:

• Current Layout name and Layout Type (Table or Pivot)
• Row Groups, and Pivot Columns when the Layout is Pivot
• Which Column Filters are applied
• If a Grid Filter is applied
• Which Column Sorts are active
• Row information - including counts of total, visible and selected rows
• Column information - counts of total and visible columns
• Special Column Information - any Calculated or FreeText or Action Columns

State

This section provides information about every Adaptable Object which has been created.

It also contains buttons to edit / delete these Objects via the relevant wizard.

Options

The Options tab provides full - readonly - details of every property in Adaptable Options.

The properties are displayed according to type.

It shows all the current property values, whether set as defaults by AdapTable or overridden by the User.

Can I use Grid Info to change the Column's Data Source? No, that is not possible.
