Setting English Variant

Summary

It is possible to use American English in AdapTable (in preference to default British English)
This will show "colour" as "color" and likewise with other words where the spelling is different

By default AdapTable is written in British English.

However for the many American users of AdapTable, there is an option to replace this with US English.

This is done via the englishVariant property in UserInterfaceOptions.

'GB' | 'US'

Which variant of English to use in AdapTable labels

By default AdapTable uses British English in its UI - label, help blocks etc.

When building an application that primarily serves the US market, set this property to 'US' to see 'color', 'behavior' etc.

Caution

This only covers British and American English and is not not full localisation (or should that be localization?)

This demo uses US English (by setting englishVariant in User Interface Options to "US")

Try It Out

Create a new Format Column and note that in Style section of Wizard it says "Fore Color", "Back Color" etc
